CPL Payment Readiness Checklist
Set up your payment methods before you apply to networks. Nothing is worse than earning your first commissions and waiting an extra 2–4 weeks because your PayPal isn't verified or your Payoneer ID check is still pending.
How to use: Check off each item as you complete it. Most networks support PayPal and Payoneer — start there. Wise and crypto are optional extras. Come back and update this page as you add payment methods.
Phase 1: PayPal
PayPal is the most widely supported payment method across CPA and CPL networks. Set this up first.
Phase 2: Payoneer
Payoneer is the second-most common payment method. Some networks only pay via Payoneer, and it is often faster for international transfers than PayPal.
Phase 3: Wise (formerly TransferWise)
Wise is less commonly required by networks but offers lower fees on international transfers. Useful as a backup or for networks that support direct bank transfer.
Phase 4: Crypto (Optional)
A small number of networks offer crypto payouts (usually Bitcoin or USDT). Only set this up if a specific network you are targeting requires it.
Phase 5: Tax and Record-Keeping
You do not need a formal business entity to start, but you do need to know your tax obligations before money arrives.
